In Q2 2022, the top 5 business apps on Android in Kenya showcased interesting trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Zoom Workplace experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads initially, moving from approximately 15K at the end of March to about 9.7K by early May. However, a rebound was observed mid-quarter, with downloads rising to around 14.3K by early June. The app's weekly revenue peaked at $6 in the final week of June. Active users saw a steady decrease from 175K at the end of March to 136K by early May, before stabilizing around 135K towards the end of June.

Eazzy Kash showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at about 2K in late March and peaking at 17.7K in mid-June. Active users followed a similar trend, rising from 31K to 71K over the same period.

LinkedIn: Jobs & Business News saw a steady growth in weekly downloads, beginning at 6.2K in late March and reaching a high of 12.4K by early June. Revenue also saw an increase, peaking at approximately $1.3K in early June. The app maintained a consistent active user base, growing from 148K to 167K throughout the quarter.

KRA M-Service had a remarkable spike in downloads in mid-May, jumping from around 2K to 19K within a week. Active users mirrored this trend, rising from 14K to 29K during the same period, and further increasing to 27K by the end of June.

Active users had a downward trend, decreasing from 98K to 71K by early May, with slight fluctuations thereafter, ending at 80K in late June.
